Their lawyer, Tully Alford, was able to imprison Gomez Addams' loved ones in the depths of their weird mansion. As Gomez, you need to explore The Addams Family's mansion to save Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Granny and Uncle Fester. Press the A button to jump or swim, and the B button to go in or out doors. The START button allows you access to INVENTORY. Use the SELECT button to activate Thing the moment you find him. Curious on how Gomez kills his enemies!? Well, he simply step on them just like the brutal Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.
There will be useful items to aide you in your search and rescue operation such as Front Door Key, Bone, Bucket, Extra Life, Attic Key, Umbrella, Music Manuscripts, Snorkel, Wooden Key, Blue Egg, Wrench, and Fog.
Brave your way through tons of weird obstacles, freaky monsters, and ghosts. Collect cash and other jewelries. The Addams Family is more of a puzzle game just like another popular game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, The Goonies II.
You can either beat this game in a legal manner, meaning without using any codes that may enhance your game play / give you a upper hand or by performing some tap codes that will give Gomez Addam INFINITE LIVES. To perform this INFINITE LIVES code you need to tap these buttons (while on the opening screen of this game): A, B, B, A, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT. A green-colored letter C will appear on the upper left part of the opening screen if trick is done correctly.
Even with the INFINITE LIVES code, The Addams Family video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System is a very annoying game to beat. It is not a difficult video game, but a lengthy one if it's your first time to play this game.
You should be able to save Morticia Addams in Gomez's Room after you dispose Attorney Tully Alford. A screen will show GOMEZ YOU HAVE RESCUED MORTICIA AND RESTORED THE FAMILY TREASURE. Gomez and Morticia will dance outside their mansion and that's the end of this game.
