Pugley's task is to rescue The Addams Family members namely: Gomez, Granny, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, and Morticia. What's weird is that they are actually being held prisoners in their own large mansion.
Abigail Graven have done some spell that rendered their Uncle Fester's memory useless - some sort of amnesia in layman's term. Just when I taught these weirdos are immune to such things. Story goes that this Abigail Graven has got some plans of getting The Addams Family's hidden fortune.
So she collaborated with amnesia-stricken Uncle Fester, The Addams Family lawyer Tully Alford, and The judge.
Just like any other The Addams Family franchise, Pugsley's adventures involves battling with weird creatures within the comfort of their home.
The game controls are very straightforward, the A button is used for jumping while the B button is used move Pugsley slightly to the right. When you press the SELECT button while playing - Pugsley will move slightly to the left. Some kind of a direct opposite when you press the B button. The START button on the other hand will show you Pugsley's statistics like Password, Points, Hearts,Family Members, Lives, Location, and Sweets.
Grab some items along the way such as Shoes, Candy, Lives, Fez-Copter, and Hearts - each with its own share of help to help you beat the game. You will also be seeing a lot of blocks with the letter A written on it. These boxes will provide you clues on what to possibly do next.
Some known PASSWORDS for The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt are: C82C2 (Fester is rescued while you have 2 Hearts), 982F2 (Fester is rescued while you have 3 Hearts), 182M- (Fester is rescued while you have 4 Hearts), 6R2KK (done rescuing Fester, Gomez, Granny, and Wednesday and Pugsley has 4 Hearts), 662K1 (done rescuing Fester, Gomez, Granny, and Wednesday and Pugsley has 5 Hearts), and last but not least - CJXZP which allows you to start with 511 lives.
