Ok. So the story goes that the 8 Eyes are jewels. Not only that, word has it that these jewels was conceived right in the heart of nuclear explosions. Eight jewels would mean eight nuclear explosions. Think about what will happen to our dear Earth if this is the case.
To continue with the story, this Great King has eight wonderful Dukes. All these eight Dukes have one single delusion - to control the whole world. So they decided to rip the Great King of his wonderful jewels and banish him to wastelands full of nuclear monstrosities.

This game has a 1 or 2 players alternating option. As for the controls you use the cross bar / directional pad on your Nintendo Entertainment System game pad to move left or right or climb or go down stairs. Use the A button if you want to jump, and the B button to slash your opponents with your trusty falchion. On the other hand you may press the SELECT button to choose weapons while playing. Another way is to pause the game by pressing the START button and pressing the LEFT or RIGHT directional buttons to choose. Pressing the UP and the A buttons at the same time allows you to use the weapon. The main character in 8 Eye's is Orin the Falconer. Along with his falcon named Cutrus, Orin is tasked to paved through the Dukes' castle. Eight Dukes mean eight castles of nuclear mutants, skeletons, weird wasps and mud-men to conquer. You will get one jewel for each Duke castle / level you beat. Get all the 8 jewels and use its power to restore our beloved planet Earth.
This is not an easy game even for a gamer with intermediate skills. I am just not quite sure why they placed an apostrophe before the s of this title. Last but not least, this game has three alternate endings for you to see. Orin's loyal falcon Cutrus will be arranging the 8 gems in their rightful place once you beat all those mutated ugly bosses in this Nintendo Entertainment System video game.
